Happy Halloween

I'll post more pics of the kids in their costumes later. It has been a wonderfully cozy day. Cold and rainy out, a bit of fog, very spooky. Thanks to Aunt Molly for the shirt Lucy is modeling.

Lucy and May

I think the cousins resemble one another in this picture, taken by Grandpa Dick. (May is on the left). They both have kissable, plump cheeks, and are very cute in their outdoor cozy outfits. They enjoyed BP VI as much as the rest of us, I think.

Gus's New Passion

I can't take credit for this crazy cute picture of Gus-- Gary, aka Un Pescado, took it at our fun trip we just got home from- The 6th annual Burning Pram. If you are unsure what Burning Pram is, well, Google it. It is an annual campout with a bunch of fly fishing folks and there is a fire involved.
Note the green tree air freshener on the handle bar- Gus found that on the ground and started calling it his keychain. I asked him what does it smell like? he said, "Daddy!".

Lu-Lu Bean

...and Daddy.

wearing '08 campaign t-shirts. His says Obama, hers says Mommy. I think both will win this November.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Oroville Pumpkin Patch last Saturday. It was such a beautiful day. Gus hunted down 4 pumkins, one to represent each member of our family. Large, medium, small, and Lucy sized.

She's 5 months now

Lucy is five months old. I can't believe how fast she is growing. I am still treasuring her infant stage, as you can see, she's still in the co-sleeper and still swaddled partially at night.

With Gus, we were so excited and anxious to get out the highchair and feed him solids, get him rolling, crawling, standing and talking-- to find out what kind of person he was going to become.

With Lucy, Matt and I are savoring every moment of her sweet, sweet baby-hood, and are truly enjoying it.

Resemblance?

So here are Gus and Lucy. Can you tell who's who?

They remind me of one another. Very similar babies in many ways, and yet different. Lucy is more petite and easy going. She is a bit more agile and physically ahead (but Gus was much bigger). Gus is blonder, Lucy darker. They have very similar smiles and giggles and are equally love-able. My kids= my favorite subject.

Sitting.... with help

Lucy was sitting with help from the Boppy pillow. Gus thinks its funny that she needs help to sit up. Here they are, horsing around.
